To Whom It May Concern:

From our first meeting with Bill and Cindy Morris of Elegant Living Homes we were immediately impressed with not just their comprehensive knowledge but their enthusiasm and desire to design and build a custom home just for us.  They were always supportive and extremely patient with our decisions (and indecisions too), and both made good suggestions throughout the process.  Bill knew our plans for a pool in the back yard and our love for trees and positioned the house on the lot to maximize our intended use of the property while maintaining the home’s curb appeal.  Both Bill and Cindy made themselves available at all times of the day and we always felt comfortable voicing our concerns and asking questions. Two particular incidents during our build demonstrated their commitment to building a quality home for us. We had chosen to have the entire slab stained and scored, something that Bill and Cindy had not done in one of their homes yet. They did the research on our behalf and assisted us in choosing the best subcontractor; during the pouring of the slab both of them were on site with the subcontractor to ensure that the foundation slab was appropriately prepared and protected during the remaining construction. (ask Cindy about the leaves, funny story)  Secondly, we planned to have a rustic cedar support beam in our great room and when it arrived Bill didn’t like its appearance and sent it back. A replacement was delivered and Bill sent that one back as well. He knew that the beam was going to be a feature of our living room and was prepared to keep looking until the one was delivered of high enough quality.  We didn’t have to request this; he just took care of it.  As the building process continued, Cindy guided us through the selection process for fixtures, cabinets, countertops etc.  We were provided with a recommended list of subcontractors but they were happy to work with anyone we selected all the while keeping the build on budget.   Bill and Cindy established a time line at the beginning of the building process including an expected move in date and our home was ready; on time and on budget. Since moving in 8 months ago we have had very few problems and all of them have been minor.  This represents the final and very important area that separate Bill and Cindy from other builders.  We have only needed to email or pick up the phone and the problem was fixed immediately. It is our pleasure to offer our unsolicited support of Bill and Cindy Morris of Elegant Living Homes. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions.
