To Whom It May Concern
We are writing this letter as a letter of reference for Mr. Bill Morris and
Elegant Living Homes. About a year and a half ago, my wife and I made the
decision that we needed to begin looking for a larger house. After a
couple of months of research and looking, we decided the way to go was to buy a
new home. For about six months we looked throughout Bryan and College
Station to get ideas on different builder's styles, neighborhoods, schools,
etc. In July of 2000 we came across a home in Tiffany Park in Bryan built
by Elegant Living Homes. Over the next two weeks we brought family and
friends around to see this house that we really liked. Almost every time
we came, Bill was at the house working, whether he was doing touch up paint,
installing fans, or working on the exterior of the house. We were very
impressed with the attention to detail Bill paid to the house he was
building. You hear horror stories, whether true or not about some builders
rarely even making an appearance at a house they built. This was
definitely not the case with Bill.
Another new home story we had heard was that once you took possession of the
home, even though you had a one-year builder's warranty, it was very hard to get
your builder to fix small problems. Rarely would it ever get done in a
timely manner. Bill is definitely the exception. After we purchase
the house, Bill has been very easy to contact about any small problems we have
had. He has always taken care of them in a very prompt manner.
This is the first new home my wife and I have purchased. We are very
lucky to have a builder like Bill Morris who takes so much pride in his
work. In the future, if we decide to build a new house, we would not
hesitate to ask Bill to build it for us.
